Memories of Christmas

£5.00

Our first original Christmas song!

When asked about writing this song Debbie said:

This was written after my dad passed away and I wrote a poem about him, the smell of him, old spice woodbines.  Watching tele, Morcambe and wise, reliving all my memories and now seeing the way the world is now.

We didn’t have loads, but we still had family.  Things were tough, I know things were hard as a large family, you learn to share.

Profit made from the sale of these singles will be donated to Cash for Kids, and Fans Supporting Food Banks. We will be selling physical CD copies in person at our events, and digital downloads are available from our website.  All profit received through sales or donated at any of our events, will be equally split between the two charities and donated by the 31st January 2024.

We believe that the lyrics of the songs written by Debbie Edge and Grace Allwood have particular significance that relate to the work of both charities.

Christmas is a Feeling comes from my daughter.: “Christmas never turns out the way it’s meant to.”  But for me it depends on what you’re expecting. It’s the build up of the feeling around that time of year that gives you a buzz and the excitement.  It might be just for children but I still get that now.
