Wall Of Sound

Community Choir

Our Flagship Choir. It all began here.

At the end of lockdowns from the worldwide pandemic of Covid-19 we needed connection.

Wall Of Sound Community Choir was born out of that need.

And from that point onwards we’ve been growing and learning and having an enormous amount of fun.

Our Venue

We rehearse in the wonderful St Marks'St Mark's Church, located in Childwall Valley, offers a welcoming and spacious environment for our choir sessions. This beautifully maintained venue features high ceilings and comfy chairs, making it a perfect backdrop for vocal harmonies to flourish.

Accessibility is a top priority here; the church is easily reachable by public transport and provides ample parking for those who drive. With facilities that cater to all abilities, including step-free access and adapted restrooms, St Mark's ensures that every member of our community can join in the joy of singing, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Our Rehearsals

We rehearse in 4 vocal parts - don’t panic - this doesn’t mean we’re singing really complicated things!

What this means is we sit you with singers that are a little like yourself, not just based on gender!

Highs - for upper voices

Mid 1’s - for upper middle voices

Mid 2’s - for lower middle voices

Lows - for lower voices

WE DON’T AUDITION YOU!

So really you can sit anywhere you like! Just make sure you’re having fun, and all is good!
