Get ready for an ABBA Choir-a-oke night led by Grace Allwood, Musical Director of Wall of Sound Community Choirs, at Bowring Park Golf Club on Sunday 12th July. Doors open 6pm and we’ll be singing through until 9pm. Tickets are £10.
It’s a big, feel-good ABBA singalong where you’ll belt out the iconic hits together (no pressure, just joy!). No auditions, no solos, and no music reading needed. We’ll kick off with a short intro to the format, then you can pick your side… are you a Benny or a Bjorn?
Expect the big ones. You might find yourself as a Dancing Queen, shouting Mamma Mia like it’s a reflex, and having a very dramatic moment of Knowing Me, Knowing You (don’t worry, we’ll do it together).
The venue has disabled access and a full bar. Lyrics will be on a screen, and also accessible on your phone or tablet.
Seating is first come, first served, so arrive early if you want the best spot (and a pre-sing drink).
And please, get into the spirit. Come in your best ABBA attire (sequins, flares, platform boots… the lot).
