Wall of Sound Brings Sunshine, Song, and Smiles to Heys Court
On Sunday 29th June 2025, the courtyard of Heys Court, Garston came alive with music, laughter, and community spirit as Wall of Sound’s Flagship Community Choir brought their harmonies to the heart of the neighbourhood.
With the summer sun on our shoulders, we sang everything from toe-tapping classics to soul-stirring anthems, while residents gathered around, smiling, clapping, and even joining in.
🎶 A Joyful Afternoon of Connection:
There’s something special about transforming a simple courtyard into a stage for community celebration. It wasn’t about being perfect—it was about being present, joyful, and connected.
💖 Why This Story Matters:
This is the heartbeat of what Wall of Sound Community Choirs is all about. Creating spaces where everyone, no matter their musical background, can come together, raise their voices, and feel part of something beautiful.
When we sing together, barriers fall away. We stop worrying about being “good enough” and start remembering that we were born to connect—to laugh, to breathe together, to create together. Community singing is an act of joy and belonging—and our performance at Heys Court was living proof of that.
💫The Heartbeat of Wall of Sound
Every one of our performances, whether framed by the historic walls of St Luke’s, the vibrant buzz of the Joseph Lappin Centre Festival, or the friendly courtyard at Heys Court—highlights something crucial:
Music has the power to connect, heal, and empower.
At Wall of Sound Community Choirs, we believe that everyone has a voice worth hearing. Our doors are open to anyone who wants to sing. No auditions, no judgement, just joyful music-making with a wonderful group of people.
